In recent years, with the rise of the Internet of Things market, the application of RFID in the Internet of Things industry has once again set off the use of new RFID products. In 2014, the scale of the Internet of Things industry exceeded 800 billion yuan, and the annual compound growth rate exceeded 28%. Among them, the scale of the RFID industry is over 30 billion yuan. And the rapid development of RFID technology, its applications and fields are becoming more and more extensive. As the most critical technology in the development of the Internet of Things, the full application of various RFID devices in the Internet of Things has expanded the market of RFID applications.

According to IDTechEx CEaghu Das, about 7.5 billion digitally coded RFID tags were sold worldwide by 2014. At the last RAIN RFID Industry Alliance meeting, DasZ pointed out that the scale of the RFID market is expected to reach $9.5 billion by 2015, including active RFID, RTLS technology, passive RFID services, networks, software, RFID anti-metal magnetic isolator, etc.

According to experts, there are three major features in China's RFID market. Government-led projects including high-profit will be transferred to market-led projects, the RFID market is changing the global label production pattern, HF applications have matured, and UHF applications are growing rapidly.

According to G3 comprehensive report, the development of RFID in China has been strongly supported by the government. In fact, the domestic RFID market can be divided into two types: one is government-led, the other is market-led. For example, aerospace information, Shanghai Zhongka, Beijing Zhongdian Huada and other companies focus on government projects and are deeply influenced by government support, while Yuanwanggu, Yangzhou Yongdao, Zhongruisichuang and other companies are mainly market-oriented. It is less influenced by the government. Government-led companies mainly focus on government projects, with considerable profits. Market-oriented companies are facing more market competition, especially in the area of label packaging. With more and more inlay factories in China, there is a strong demand for equipment in the domestic market. China's annual productivity of RFID tags reached 6 billion in 2014, accounting for more than 85% of the global production capacity of RFID tags.

With the continuous development of RFID, the related industries have also developed rapidly. Interestingly, the library of Chengyi College of Jimei University is the first library in China to deploy the RFID system. It was officially used in February 2006, which is a milestone in the application of RFID in Chinese libraries and has far-reaching significance. With the wide use of RFID technology, the anti-metal magnetic isolator of RFID has also been developed rapidly. The manufacturers of magnetic isolators are coming out and concentrating on the research and production of magnetic isolator of absorbing materials.

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology is rapidly popularizing in China. Its own advantages make it have broad application prospects and huge market potential. It can be said that the "heart" of RFID technology will promote the better and faster development of the Internet of Things, and the Internet of Things will carefully care for its precious "heart".
